Opened in 2006, Hector’s House is a one bedroom self catering holiday cottage (also available on a B & B basis), ideal for couples looking to get away from it all. The cottage is attached to the late 18th century farmhouse, which is set in East Devon’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The farm has a total of 70 acres, with Red Devon cattle, Suffolk sheep and Oxford Sandy and Black pigs. We sell our own meat and are able to provide eggs, sausages, steaks etc as required, feel free to ask upon arrival.

The location is ideal for visitors to River Cottage (7 minute drive) and exploring the Jurassic coastline which is a World Heritage site. Lyme Regis is 5 miles to the east whilst the fishing villages of Beer and Branscombe are close by to the west.The Seaton Tramway can be boarded at Colyford (1.5 miles) for trips into Colyton and the seaside at Seaton. The tram runs down the River Axe estuary, where many species of birdlife can be found. The farm next door (Lower Bruckland) has extensive fishing lakes and is also a nature reserve.
